This is a Work and Study programme designed for mature students over the age of 18 years. It combines English Language Tuition with Work Experience in a local pub, restaurant, supermarket etc.

Job interviews are arranged by Pace and although usually successful cannot be guaranteed.

Participants must attend an interview when an interview has been arranged and participants must commit themselves to work with the company for their stay.

Students are expected to accept a job once they have been

offered a placement.

Tuition is 16 hours general English per week from Monday to Thursday 09.00 to 13.00

Host family accommodation is provided for all students. This includes single room, breakfast and evening meal. Accommodation cost per week: €150 and is to be paid in advance every two weeks

Levels are lower intermediate to advanced/proficiency

Preparation for Cambridge Examinations (Optional)

Minimum period of the course is 12 weeks

The course may be started on any Monday throughout the year.
